I am getting the joy of watching our niece Lila one day a week. It is Mark's brother's girl and she is such a doll. She loves to talk and smile and she is always moving. One day a week is just perfect, I get my healthy baby fix and then I get to give her back at the end of the day! She adores Mark as well, probably reminds her of her dad. I am having a lot of fun playing mom one day a week!!!

Our Dining room has been popping up in my long list of " to-do's" I still feel like we have for our house. I think I want to paint it soon..as in by the end of the summer. At first I was thinking I wanted a dark chocolate brown and although I have not ruled it out, I found this picture and I am LOVING it. It is a taupey- grayish color. We already have the crown molding and mark promises adding the additional pieces on the bottom half will be easy...

One of the best parts of living in Indianapolis is the circle of friends we are surrounded by. A lot of our friends are from college and the cool thing about that is that we have continued to "grow up" together. We have watched new significant others, engagements, weddings, new pets, and new babies. The best part about our friends is that we may not talk all the time, but when we are together we just pick right up, falling on those college memories. What makes it an added bonus for me, is that I know a lot of Mark's friends from BSU and I have grown to know their wives and they are some of my dearest friends. The past 2 weeks, we have had numerous random get togethers, more then normal. We all decided that it doesn't matter what we do, just that we do it. I came home one night from work to a house-ful of people, who brought random things from their refrigerators and we just had a huge cookout. I just remember stepping back as we were all on the back porch laughing and saying to myself " we are so lucky, this is what it is about." We have a great group that supports each other and really enjoy being together. We are lucky, and it makes me miss my other friends that don't live here! Cheers to great friends!!!

......We were getting MARRIED! It is crazy that is has been a year, man time flies. I cam remember our big day just like yesterday...Such a special day! We had a good weekend, we went to a wedding and then just took it easy. It has been awhile since we have both been off from work without anything major going on. We decided it would be better to do what wanted instead of what we "should" be doing. We did watch our wedding video, shed a few tears and talked about the entire weekend. People say the first year is the hardest, I hope they are right because it was pretty much easy. Not to say we get along all the time and our relationship is perfect, but I really feel that our relationship has only grown. We have only gotten closer. Mark knows me better then anyone, he knows how to make me laugh, smile, learn, grow, calms me and respects me! So lucky to have this man and cant wait for many more!!
Here are the rest of the pictures from our wedding, including professional ones for all my photo friends!

So I went to see the movie last night...FINALLY! I went with some girls I work with and we had a blast! As for the movie....AAAAHHHHMAAAAZZZZING! It was sooo good! I have been so exctied about this and worried that I got my hopes up to high for it...but...it delivered! It was better then I thought. It is so addicting and draws you in. The acting was awesome. I actually liked Bella in this one. The dynamics between Edward and Jacob were right on with the book. I am still 100% totally Team Edward...my friends were wavering because Jacob has his shirt off the entire movie! I do like Jacob, but Edward is where it is at! OK enough rambling because I could go on for days...GO SEE IT! I am....again. FYI...the Trader's Point AMC theater has $5 movies Mon- Thurs...I think I can go every day for that price!!!

I am going to be hosting a bridal shower at the end of August for one of my dear friends and old teammates Dana...She is getting married in September and it is going to be a good time!! I have decided to go with a theme for her shower that I saw on the Hostess with the Mostess called " Bling Bride" I think it will be fun, fabulous and fit Dana to a tee. I am not using everything on the website, but just as inspiration...The ideas are swirling around in my head. I will be sharing the planning on future posts...but I am thinking about the menu, cake (probably the Rainbow cake with purple colors) and decorations...going to be so fun!! Can't wait! You guys have any ideas? Any suggestions? Ideas from bridal showers you have been or yummy appetizer recipes? Let me know!!
