Birthday Recap

I celebrated my 25th Birthday on Saturday. I had a wonderful weekend and turning 25 wasn't as bad as I thought! HA! Mark got together some of our good friends for dinner at Bravo on Friday night and then we had people back at our house after for cards and drinks. We met my parents for brunch Saturday morning with my Matt, Lauren, Lillian and Diana. Marks mom and sister were there as well. I had a baby shower for Heather (my sister in law). It was a busy couple of days, but overall was a lot of fun. Saturday night Mark and I just hung out and nested...just what I wanted! I am so blessed with a wonderful husband, family and friends! Thanks everyone!

PS I took no pictures this weekend...bummer!

Birthday Boy

It was Mark's Birthday yesterday...so I figured it would be a good time to try my first homemade cake recipe...cake and frosting. Cake turned out a little dense, but I LOVED the icing (Mark likes his more chocolate tasting!) I decorated a little bit to surprise him when he got home from work! It was overall a good day! He loved his present...A projector for his man cave! What did I get myself in to!
