Here are a few random pictures from the past few weeks. All our decorations are up, we went and got our Christmas tree and it looks fantastic, I think anyways! We had my Holiday work party, where we dress up and have dinner and dancing! Mark attempted to put some Christmas lights up...we will just leave it at that! And of course the doggy who adds so much joy to our life. Mark got her some new toys and she loves em!
Also, my mom informed me that she will not be doing any baking this year, it is up to us girls. So I have started early, baking cookies and freezing them. I have made sugar cookies, pecan snowballs and gingerbread snowflakes and stars. I have a few more things to make as well...it has been a lot of fun
We are also keeping up my family's Advent tradition. In the middle of our advent wreath we have names that we draw everyday and pray for certain individuals. We have been praying for lots of our families and friends...I hope you are having fun with the Holiday season so far!

Christmas Spirit
I had a wonderful day off, got some shopping done and myself organized for the upcoming Holidays. All of our Christmas decorations are up except our tree, which we will be going to get next week. I took this picture of a Christmas decoration in our house, I was enjoying the quiet and getting in the Christmas spirit. I'm really trying to focus on the real meaning of the Holidays and not get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle. I hope you are doing the same!
"What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace." - Agnes M. Pharo-

Thanksgiving Day and Weekend
We had a wonderful first Thanksgiving as a married couple! We spent the day with Mark's family, the food amazing! We ate, slept, played games...what more could you ask for! Mark and I both had to work on Friday, but my parents came Friday night and Tim, Shonda, Alex and Evan came Saturday morning. We spent the day making peirogi's (polish food) from scratch. We made about 200 and it is a day long process. We taught Mark and Shonda how to make them. Starting new traditions. We have much to be thankful for on this special day! Now time to kick off the Christmas Season!
